Sirius Online DA and SAs: Item Analysis Report Generation and Description


This document outlines the key fields included in the District Admin Item Analysis export (CSV format) for Sirius Online DA and SAs.

Export Timestamp: 10-03-2024, 12:02 PM Coordinated Universal Time [Date and Time] (Timezone is GMT)

Content Title: [Assessment or Activity Name]

Content Subtitle: [Included if one has been provided]

District: [District name]  or, in SA Reports [ School Name]

Alignments: 3.2A, 3.2B [full set of comma separated alignment]

Reports Key for Columns:

  1. SCHOOL NAME: (Available in DA Reports) name of school input into system via rostering (or self registration instance creation)
  2. TEACHER NAME: First & Last Name of Primary Teacher
  3. SSO ID: 32 unique alphanumeric characters identifying the SSO teacher
  4. SSO SIS ID: TBD
  5. CLASS NAME: Name of the classroom as input into the system via teacher self creation or automated SSO creation
  6. ASGMT: Assignment number or instance of assignment. If students miss the first assignment and it closes, teachers can reassign and it’s value would be β€œ2”
  7. TYPE: Type of assignment assigned by Classroom, Individual, Group
  8. FIRST NAME: First name of student as registered in the system
  9. LAST NAME: Last name of student as registered in the system
  10. SSO ID: 32 unique alphanumeric characters identifying the SSO student
  11. STATUS: Status of assignment
    1. CLOSED indicates that the assignment closed prior to student not starting assignment; also indicative of open items (ECRs/SCRs/other) yet to be scored.
    2. Completed indicates that work has been completed by students and teachers (if they needed to complete and have completed manual scoring).
  1. START DATE: Date and time student began accessing the assessment
  2. DUE DATE: Date indicated by teacher as to when student work should be completed
  3. SUBMITTED DATE: Date submitted by student. Students who do not have submitted work do not display date and time
  4. SUBMITTED: Yes or no
  5. TURNED IN LATE: Yes or no
  6. GRADE: Percentage
  7. TOTAL USAGE (SECONDS): Time used in completion of assignment
  8. POINTS AWARDED: Final score in points
  9. POINTS AVAILABLE: Total points available
  10. FEEDBACK: Text provided by teacher that is global to the activity or assessment.

NON-SCORED ITEMS

May be excluded from the data upon export.

  1. NOT ITEM POINTS: This field, when included in the data, represents screens of content, usually instructions to students, but unscored
  2. NOT ITEM USAGE: In MM:SS; Time spent on screen
  3. NOT ITEM ALIGNMENTS: Unscored content, media on a single screen with instructions but no scored items, may appear aligned with standards and would provide the value here

SCORED ITEMS

Each scored item is numbered.
  1. ITEM POINTS: Points awarded/points possible (e.g., 1.0/2.0)
  2. ITEM ALIGNMENT: Standard TEKs code (e.g., 3.2A, 4.2B,)
  3. ITEM USAGE: In MM:SS; Time spent on response to item

How to Generate the Item Analysis Report

  1.  Login to Sirius Online. As a district or school administrator, you may log in to Sirius either directly through the portal or via a third-party provider, depending on your preferred method of access.

  2. Click on the Reports tab (upper right).

  1. Click the View Report button under the Course Report section.

  1. Select Course from the drop-down menu.

  1. Click the Details link.

  1. Click the Download icon next to the content you want to download.

Include or exclude non-scorable items in the modal that comes up.

  1. Enter the appropriate email address.
  2. Click Send.  

Please allow some time for the report to generate and the notification email to be delivered to the address you specified.  It should not take longer than half an hour.  Email subject will be Export You Requested] Report Export Ready and the email sender will be β€œnoreply@content2classroom.com"
