🆕 First Time Guided Tours
The first time users log in, a new guided tour will automatically appear in a pop-up window. The guided tour will also be available at any time from the user’s profile menu in the upper right corner. Note that if a user clears cookies from their browser, the guided tour may appear the next time they log in. Users can click the close box in the upper right corner to dismiss it.
Course Reports and Standards Reports
Beginning February 6, Course Reports and Standards Reports will start to run every night rather than twice a week. Remember that teacher assignment Scorecard reports are always available in real time.
Presentation Mode Update
Presentation mode can now be launched in a new tab. If you have a two screen setup, this allows you to show the student version of the lesson on a large screen while also showing the teacher version on your own display.
🆕 Student ID in CSV Exports
If you
- use an SSO like Clever or Classlink,
- have configured your SSO to share student IDs with Sirius Online, and
- export report data to CSV files for import into other reporting systems,
then student IDs are now included in your exports. In each export file you will see extra columns or rows labeled SSO ID and SSO SIS ID. The SSO ID is the ID created by the SSO Provider (like Clever or Classlink), and the SSO SIS ID is the ID provided by your district’s SIS system. Note that not all districts share both IDs with Sirius Online.

Standards Report Update
The Standards Report has been updated to streamline it, with a goal to increase the frequency of report updates from twice a week to nightly. The main change is the removal of a few rarely used filters. The Course Report remains unchanged.

Simplified Assignment Making for STAAR Formative Assessment Bank (SFAB)
Previously, the first time you assigned a custom assessment in SFAB, you had to do it from within Test Builder. Subsequent assignments had to be made from My Assessments in your class. With this release, you will ALWAYS be able to make assignments from Test Builder, even for previously assigned custom assessments. Note that you will still be able to make subsequent assignments from My Assessments as well.

🆕 Teacher Present Mode
Teachers can now project assignments to the entire class, supporting more effective whole-group instruction and guided practice.
New Dictionary for Sirius Products
A newly enhanced dictionary is now available in all Spanish assignments across Sirius Online, the STAAR Summative Assessment Bank, and the STAAR Formative Assessment Bank. This update ensures closer alignment with STAAR testing requirements.
